About Us
Bangla Voice a publication aimed at the Bangladeshi community in the West Midlands and beyond. The free newspaper has been launched following demands from the Bangladeshi community in West Midlands. In the UK, the Bangladeshi population stands at just over 500,000, of which almost 20% live in the London borough of Tower Hamlets. Outside London, the largest Bangladeshi communities live in Birmingham, Oldham, Luton and Bradford. In Birmingham alone there are an estimated 70,000 people with roots in Bangladesh.
Bangla Voice will feature news from across the region and beyond with a focus on pertinent community issues. The publication will also support government and other campaigns in the hope of engaging with the Bangladeshi community. This publication will be the voice of the community, which one promotes peace. community harmony and diversity. Bangla voice is free distributed throughout the UK, It also reaches a large number of subscribers by post.
